Happy Happy Joy Joy

Little bit about me you may not know, I collect Transformers. But since the Fargo Moorehead area of ND and MN is essentially bumfuck nowhere as far a distributors are concerned it takes forever to get anything new other than the first few waves of toys completely skipping other waves and barely getting any of the later waves. However we are finally getting a few (very few) things I've been waiting months for. I pretty much only need to track down the new Wreckgar and Lugnut figs to obtain all the ones I want. So I am happy that I will be stopping with the obtaining of Bakugan in clearance isles as a stopgap.

Further more I am actually going to be getting some money. I've been accepted into a medical study at Pracs and can get up to $1000. Only problem is I have to drive about 30 miles every day for a few weeks to get there and another 30 back home... And since its early in the morning translations may be slowed a bit depending on how tired I am and what else I need to do that day.

Hopefully my next post will have something more interesting for you all.

Cybersix Italian Covers

The covers for the Italian Cybersix releases are now collected here. From my research it looks like the best way for me to obtain the remaining Cybersix comics that weren't published in French is to obtain scans of the Italian volumes 30(?)-45 or scans of the magazine Skorpio from around 1994-1996 in which it was initially run. Unfortunately I have yet to have any luck finding either. Please spread the word to those who may be able to help.
Anyway I doubt you care about the text so here are some pictures

*grumble grumble grumble

Today I had to take my Grandma out to her hair appointment which wan't too bad; I got a free lunch and gas money out of it, in addittion to spending time with my Grandmother. What was annoying happened in between the dropping off and pcking up of said Grandma.

I was chilling in her apartment as it was going to take about two hours for her to finish so I did some translation work...

Covers Once More.

For those who are interested you can now get all the covers for Meteorix issues 1-81 (I still havent managed to find the remaining 9 issues) right here.

I have also managed to track down the location of the 45 Italian covers of Cybersix. The Italian release seems to be my best bet for finding the rest of the series. If anyone out there has acess to any issue above #30 I would be grateful for any aid you're willing to provide. Whether it be scans or negotiations for me getting my hands on the actual item.

In Happier News

Sorry for the last post being so down, but eh.

In something that most of you will find to be a little bit more interesting I have now made blog pages for Cybersix and Meteorix where you can find the download links easily. This way you dont have to search through the varied blog posts to find them all. Currently there are very few links in the Meteorix section but that should change by the end of next week. Cybersix has links to all the translations I have done and the original translations that Zannen did.

In the meantime enjoy some pictures.

A Year And A Day.

So it's been a year and a day since I started this blog and began posting my Cybersix translations. A lot has changed. I was booted from the Pharm Tech program towards the tail end of it, and switched to Library Sciences. This resulted in six months of not even thinking about this project of mine.

Eventually I started translating again completely disregarding my initial schedule idea I had. This dissapoints me a bit since I would be well into the second book, but I know I would burn out doing that. Now I translate as I can.

And now I am a graduate with a Liberal Arts degree with no job and lving at home... pathetic... The closest thing I do have to  a job is keeping the wood stove going and stocked and helping out the Grandmas when they need it.

On the bright side I have now found another comic to translate, the visually interesting Meteorix 5.9 from Mexico. And have attracted at least one visit to to blog with the search phrase 'I read my disneyporn comics'...

Eh fuck it, enough whining I'm going to go and shoot some space zombies. (Dead Space 2 is the most cathartic game I've played since Prototype and Star Craft)
